Fact
1
Several factors worked against Glacier's ability to get over with the WCW fans. His delayed debut and the fact that the whole Blood Runs Cold idea hadn't been properly explained was one. Glacier's matches, particularly his tendency to miss his Cryonic Kick finisher, didn't help either. Bad timing, bad plotting and bad wrestling killed the angle's potential.
2
WCW billed Glacier from "Shorinji Temple, Fukuoka, Japan." While Fukuoka, Japan is a real place, there is no Shorinji Temple there.
3
Used Darude's "Sandstorm" as entrance music in CHIKARA and elsewhere.
4
Glacier rarely spoke in WCW, possibly because his Southern accent would have clashed with his gimmick.

Originally trained by veteran wrestler Fred Avery, Lloyd would eventually go on to learn from two of the most iconic figures in Professional Wrestling history - The legendary Lou Thesz and "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes.
