Juan Antonio Howard was born on 7 February 1973, in Chicago, Illinois USA, and is a former professional basketball player in the NBA with teams including the Denver Nuggets, Orlando Magic, Houston Rockets and Miami Heat. A President of Vocational’s Senior Boys’ Council, Juan Howard proved himself on the court during his senior year with an average of 26.9 points per game, and attracted the attention of many colleges and universities. He enrolled at the University of Michigan in 1991.

Howard played for the Wolverines team from his first year, helping the team to accomplishments in the NCAA play-offs in all three years, although never reaching the final.
